Our Vision from Murehwa

When we look at the local clay in Murehwa, we don’t just see the earth—we see our future.

We see the hands of young women and teen moms, many of whom have been told their potential is limited, molding that earth into something of high value. Through our partnership with Pabvute Gourmet, we have already proven that our traditional pottery isn't just a craft; it is a viable, commercial trade. But our vision goes much deeper than the pots we sell.

We are building a sanctuary where heritage heals.

Our vision is to establish a Pottery & Heritage Village on 1- acre of our beautiful rural land. We are creating a space where a teen mom can walk in with a heavy heart and leave with a trade, a meal, and a sense of pride. This village will be a living, breathing ecosystem—a place where we don’t just teach pottery, but where we master it to be more sustainable and durable than ever before.

In this village:

  • We will innovate: Using the same Murehwa clay we love, we will refine our techniques to create world-class stoneware that honors our roots.

  • We will share: We will open our doors to the world, offering pottery and traditional cooking classes to tourists, creating a beautiful exchange of culture and heritage.

  • We will sustain: With our own gardens and livestock kraals, we will build a self-sufficient community that feeds itself while it grows.

This isn’t just about "charity." It is about cultural rehabilitation. We are taking our Zimbabwean heritage, dusting it off, and showing the world that our traditions can power a modern, independent economy for women.

By supporting this fundraiser, you aren't just helping us buy land; you are planting the seeds for a village that will empower mothers and their children for generations to come.

Join us in building a home for our heritage.
